blogging again...

went out for dinner yesterday to celebrate my god-sister's bdae :)
we went to Minori Dining & Sake Pte Ltd, which is located at UE square.
have never been there before, so both dads had no idea which is the correct car park..so in the end we ended up @ the car park beneath shell house...it was one ulu carpark with hardly any cars...the funniest thing was we alighted from the car 3 times in a row..1st time we got off, my sister noticed that we were parking in the handicapped zone, 2nd time we managed to get to the lift lobby but it was under maintenance, the 3rd & last one was then successful...and that's not all....after finding the carpark lots, we had to find the way to the restaurant..took us quite abit of time before we finally found the place...

Price: buffet is @ $28 for adults & $18 for children during lunch, and $32 & $20 respectively during dinner. You can also order the dishes a la carte at prices from $3 to $40 an order


This restaurant offers a la carte buffet, i.e. eat-all-you-can for just one price. Food ranges from sashimi and tempura to teppanyaki and noodle..

Would strongly recommend the assorted sashimi....the sashimi is so fresh - comprising of tuna, yellow-tail, salmon, snapper, octopus & cuttlefish...and they all came in thick & chuncky slices...definately worth eating :P

Other than the shashimi, there's the sushi..we didnt ordered alot of sushi cos the boss recommended that we go little on the rice cos it's very filling..so i had one california roll - a thick slice of avocado together with crabstick & cumcumber wrapped in a very crispy seaweed, one word: absolutely delicious...

i also had my favourite ebiko & unagi sushi...ohhh..and if u notice the stick of mushroom in the picture below, it is also something which i would recommend..very delicious..it's barbecued shitake mushroom..i had quite a few sticks of that...


for the cooked dishes, we had fish - salmon & saba, meat - chicken & beef, vegetable - bean sprout, tempura & chawamushi...my favourites would be the chicken & the beansprout..the sauce for the beef was far too salty which was not to my liking...as for the fish, i guess the sashimi is still the best...heeeheee....
